That JOLT feel, What's it about?

David was waiting to meet a right lady. The one the Almighty has assigned for him.  And because of that he has abstained  from getting himself committed to anyone.  The story began to change  when he was in his early 20s.  Initially he has been seeing   different ladies beautiful ones but  not really interested in forming  a strong bond.  Moreover,  he's so much up obsessed with finding the right person and fascinated by many stories of people feeling a "jolt" and "finding love".

So,  one day,  after so much thoughts he decided  to make a move that  will be concrete. he  got out of bed  on that fateful day and left   for  campus  feeling excited  that  he's going to make  a move.  Getting to campus,  he   saw this lady (Biola) that he has been chatting up for some time and conclude he has to really tell her about his feelings even when there was no "jolt" felt since she first met her. 

It's not that David has all the money but at least he is good looking and self sustained.  Even though  his mind is clouded with finding the right partner and so afraid of  being in a wrong relationship, he went ahead to carry out his plan. 

The pressure that he has created for himself led  him into thinking that finding the right person can only be achieved if he takes certain steps like the one he's taking now.  Fortunately, Biola has a lecture free day and just came to school because David requested. What an honor, he thought. 

" Hi Biola" he waved as he moved closer to where she was seated. "Hi, what's up" replied Biola. Trying to put a smile and avoiding getting nervous, he held her right hand. Biola looked puzzled but didn't restrain. She was wondering if David meant what he said on the group chat last night about how he feels about her. 

David, almost stammering started "hum Biola, I really like you o, I mean I have feelings for you and I don't know how you'll feel about it or feel about me". There was silence. David's mind was jerking as the words left his lips. He didn't know what response he'll get from Biola. He was still concerned about what the "jolt" was and wondering if he'd ever get a jolt since true lovers as he had heard always feels a jolt. Perhaps he thought, the jolt is meant for ladies and not guys. 

Biola looked at him and asked "are you serious about what you just said?" David face lit up. He's damn serious about being in a relationship and he likes Biola. His huge problem is being sure if he's doing the right thing. "Yes, I'm serious about you" he muttered. Biola looked skeptical and told him "I'll think about it, and have you prayed about it?". The response and the question got David more confused. 

Not getting a yes or no response and also having to pray about it taunted his mind. He asked himself if he has "really thought" about being in a relationship. His first attempt. He's not sure, but he didn't care. He just wanted a relationship.
